EJournals - New Purchases Checklist
Title of Journal:
- Aleph records created (download bib if necessary see: EJournals - Adding New Titles (MARCIt) )
- License completed?
- If fulltext is NOT permitted on ereserve, notify EReserves
- Proxy server configuration file addition
- Activation of access on hosting service
- If password-only access, add to Wiki Usernames & Passwords
- If password-only access, send to Christine Turner for adding to page at http://www.library.umass.edu/restricted/index.html
- Debit selector credits if appropriate (W\Departmental_Folders\Acquisitions\FY(xx)_selector_credits.xls)
- Add Technical Support contact info to Verde
- Activate in SFX Knowledgebase.
- Activate target and target service if necessary, editing fields in these edit screens, checking ILL rights, etc. See SFX Targets - Activating.
- Activate the object portfolio, checking date threshold and access.
- If no object portfolio is available, search for the object and add a local portfolio. Report to SFX and track or ask Catherine to do so.
- If new host, send info on addition for usage statistics to Christine Turner.
- Notify selector resource is live? Faculty requester?
- When completed: To Christine Turner for eleres blog posting
